Decorative Blasted & Carved Glass
For centuries, artists have used abrasive materials to carve away areas of glass, leaving behind designs that can be flat or have varying degrees of relief. Glass & Mirror Craft can do this by using carefully controlled blasting with aluminum oxide abrasive particles.
Blasting and carving can be used to create a 2-D or 3-D image based on your artwork – whether it’s a photograph, drawing or company logo. We also offer a variety of standard patterns (below).
Glass & Mirror Craft can carve or blast in any type of glass we carry – including glass that has other decorative treatments. Carved and blasted glass panels can also be tempered and/or laminated for additional strength and safety.
