Expressive Etch Decorative Glass
Using chemicals or abrasives to etch designs into glass is a technique that’s been around for centuries. The treatment leaves behind a surface that is “frosted” in an almost infinite number of patterns.
In a similar way, blasting with sand or another abrasive can be used to texture the surface, and three-dimensional patterns can be cut with abrasive tools. Learn more about them here.
Glass & Mirror Craft’s line of Expressive Etch patterns offers a variety of looks and textures to suit many decorating schemes. We can also custom-etch your design – from decorator patterns to your company logo.
Expressive Etch products are available in:
- Clear float glass
- Low-Iron float glass
- Mirrors
We can also etch a “satin” pattern on either or both sides to provide additional privacy. Etched glass panels can also be tempered and/or laminated for additional strength and safety.
The orientation of the pattern of all Expressive Etch products can be changed.
